Something about me ...

Selfie of me

My name is Carlos Bordachar! I’m a software engineer based in Buenos Aires, Argentina I’ve been working in tech and gaining experience in software development since 2007, with a strong and balanced background in frontend, backend, and DevOps. Always looking for clean and tidy code solutions.

In 2011 I graduated in computer engineering from UNLaM. I consider myself a lifelong learner and problem solver.

It’s also accurate to describe myself as a detail-oriented and minimalist person, concerned about online privacy, its risks, and the lack of security. Passionate about the FOSS philosophy and blockchain technology.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked in both small and large companies, as well as freelancing, which I continue to do today. Recently, I’ve ventured into game development as a hobby. And now I’m working on a personal project to create the game I’ve always wanted to play. However, it’s just the beginning—I’m a budding indie game developer.

I enjoy the challenge of analyzing and solving problems. I love learning about how things work and why, and I often find myself navigating the Valley of Despair. I also love mentoring and helping people. Always learning, always teaching—I’m passionate about everything.

If IT were not my profession and my passion, I would have been a woodworker or joiner.

This is a brief overview of who I am. If you’d like to connect, discuss an idea, or collaborate on a project, don’t hesitate to reach out on social media.

Hope to meet you!
